Have you ever felt like you're in the middle of the ocean, torn between fighting for your life and just giving up? to let everything be and just float on the surface of the water? Away from paranoia, high expectations and judgmental imbeciles.
I wish life had a pause button so we could just stop time. To think. Or maybe to take a break.
Its been only two weeks since ive been home, and things couldn't have been more different. Mom and dad decided to make tiny improvements to the house and now everything from the walls to the floors have been removed to make way for the renovation. Its amazing how much things could change in such a short period of time. Danny's going to Egypt this tomorrow. Felt like it was just yesterday, we were playing football in my garden which felt like a field before and yet so tiny now. I still can't believe how much time has passed. How those friends you used to talk to every night, are now strangers and those you despise turn out to be one of your closest friends.
College is treating me fairly, A Levels is not at easy as it sounds. To be completely honest with myself, im struggling. Keeping up is never easy.
Semester exam's next week, i just hope i can prove to my parents and myself that im actually worth something. Oh well, i have to start looking at books now. Maybe a quick shop at rasta bazaar? Dear God, please show me the light.

THEY SEE ME ROLLIN

Hey guys,
Its been a while. College life is definitely different. But the dramas, the lover gossip, the green eyed pessimists, the social cliques, and all that we fear to be the repetition of high school is unfortunately surfacing. I mean, there is no place on earth that does not have drama in it. Whether it influences you or not, well its for you to decide.
Im studying A Levels in KYUEM and with God's will, ill be pursuing medicine. insyaallah. Awesome roommates, amazing teachers (so far), and my own room. I am more than grateful.

Went to Chic Pop and KL Bazaar Trilogy yesterday. Saw some familiar faces, let me tell you, it was bittersweet. Bought quite a lot, using my college money. Felt quite bad for spending it on clothes instead of books and lab coats, but i guess its for a good cause. At least for a legit cause.
Oh well. Tomorrow everything goes back to square one, me being in college and crying over my malaysian studies assignment. Its due coming thursday, and all ive got are two lines of the definition of education.Despite my sudden outburst of emotions, im happy of how these past few weeks have turned out for me and thank God im still standing. Happy fasting!

SWEET DISPOSITION

IMG_2391

Safely reached Malaysia yesterday midnight. I was so drained out that I spent the whole of today resting and watching tv. Since we followed a tour group, we didnt really have enough time to explore the real Jakarta and Bandung. Shopping was also restricted to only an hour in an outlet or a specific street. Bought lots of Batik textiles at the Pasar Baru in Bandung where personally, i would recommend if you would like to get materials to be sent for tailoring. Tanah Abang in Jakarta was also good but i won't buy blouses, skirts, or ready made pieces there. On the other hand, Jalan Riau is awesome for getting branded items at unbelievable prices ;) i bought a navy blue long cardigan, cobalt blue denims, brown high waisted slacks specially for college and a batwing chiffon batik top. Thrifting on the other hand, sadly was not on our itinerary. For the first time, i didnt shop much on a shopping holiday trip. All in all, loved every bit of it, can't wait to go back to indonesia for a real shopping trip x)

So I won the Chic Pop Market 8 Style Shot Contest! Won myself a 50ml Flower by Kenzo eau de parfum and a pair of Urbanscapes tickets. yeeaay thank you Tongue in Chic!

BANANAS FOR BANDUNG

Very excited for an all girls trip to Bandung tomorrow for four days, three nights. Well, not exactly girls. Ladies. Explanation: im going with my mom, and my two aunts. I cant wait because if there were actually guys tagging along, our shopping trips would turn into coffee shop trips. Yes, it does. Anyways, about the bazaars last weekend, Chic Pop was super duper. Met with beautiful Anabu, Nawwar the owner of Stellar, which, what a small world, knows my aunty sara. SMALL SMALL WORLD. I didnt take much pictures sadly :( Good thing is, I was lucky to be spotted by one of the style scouts at Chic Pop Market 8 for the style shot contest hee. Thank you so much tongue in chic!

Anyways Krusty Market was so so. I guess we came a bit too late that most of the things were sold off. All in all, i bought 5 items. And tomorrow im going to Bandung. Luckily my mom knew, because she saw me hand washing all of them yesterday and she just gave me the 'stare'. The stare that will affect my spending in Bandung and maybe my duit raya.

Oh well, ive gotta get ready for bed. Sorry just kidding myself, im gonna go watch some series called Melrose Place which seemed kind of interesting because Ashlee Simpson's in it and the hot dude which appeared once in Life Unexpected. x)

Hello there, obviously this is my very first post and for some reason, im kind of anxious. Writing down feelings, deepest indescribable thoughts, reminiscing events far more valuable than simple words. Quite frankly, letting go of the past was never a cup of tea for me. One of the many reasons of this is actually letting go. Saying goodbye to my first love, the hours spent laughing and crying over high school dramas and saying goodbye to bestfriends who were the bread to my butter and now almost strangers. All of us have a shadow or a past we wish to feed to the sharks and walk away from but the ugly truth is, the only way to get over it is just to face it. Face all those wrong turns and turn them into life lessons. This marks a change for me, for a better and stronger me.
