Safely reached Malaysia yesterday midnight. I was so drained out that I spent the whole of today resting and watching tv. Since we followed a tour group, we didnt really have enough time to explore the real Jakarta and Bandung. Shopping was also restricted to only an hour in an outlet or a specific street. Bought lots of Batik textiles at the Pasar Baru in Bandung where personally, i would recommend if you would like to get materials to be sent for tailoring. Tanah Abang in Jakarta was also good but i won't buy blouses, skirts, or ready made pieces there.On the other hand, Jalan Riau is awesome for getting branded items at unbelievable prices ;) i bought a navy blue long cardigan, cobalt blue denims, brown high waisted slacks specially for college and a batwing chiffon batik top. Thrifting on the other hand,sadly was not on our itinerary. For the first time, i didnt shop much on a shopping holiday trip. All in all, loved every bit of it, can't wait to go back to indonesia for a real shopping trip x)
